The diplomacy of Burkina Faso is 25 embassies and consulates general crisscross the world to ensure legations sovereign and real cooperation with bilateral and multilateral partners. These are essential commitments and treaties entered into multifaceted, they are Membership and participation in major international organizations, universal, continental, regional and subregional organizations: United Nations (UN), Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) World Trade Organization (WTO), International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank, African Union (AU), Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD), Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS ), Economic and Monetary Union of West Africa (UEMOA), ACP-EU, etc. This is a very active groups and forums: Non-Aligned Movement, Group of 77 African Groups. They are strong and exemplary bilateral cooperation with France, Switzerland, Canada, the Republic of China, Libya, etc..

Burkina diplomacy is still the ability to deploy and be operational and effective in times of crisis.
